Just a thought

I imagine it's probably completely out of my league, or the realms of possibility, but I've been struck by a sudden desire to attend The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. More and more, computers cease to be as interesting as they once were and the business world (accounting, finance, etc) becomes MORE interesting. Wharton is one of the best business schools around, and I don't live that far away from the school. The question is whether or not they would take me.

Unfortunately, the best business school's are located in the Northeast. It's a dissappointment when you want to move to a warmer climate.

I think you should apply. The worst that could happen is that they accept you on a conditional basis, which means you may need to reach a certain GPA as an undeclared major before you can apply to the School of Business.

I love business. I chose marketing because every small business owner I spoke to said the most difficult part about owning a business is knowing how to market the products/services.

A business background will enable you to sell yourself to your clients if you choose to freelance. Or if you need financing to write a book, you will learn how to form a written business proposal.

When you do go back to school, make sure you take a personal finance class. And take lots of notes.

You are so an idea theif!

And I can't spell!

:)
