The more I think about Terri Schiavo and her case, the more I think that she needs to live, and it's important that her family be given the chance to provide her with the care she needs.
Previously, I had talked about the need to hear what her husband had to say, and to have some compassion for him as well, but the more details that come out, the more it is apparent to me that Michael Schiavo does not care for her, and should turn power of attorney over to her parents.
I want to thank Allyson, who commented on my story and prompted me to thank more about the case, and caused me to re-examine my position.
I am gratified that you revisited your opinion regarding Terri Schiavo. Terri's family continues an uphill traverse to care for their daughter. That a severely disabled woman can be denied access to treatment and therapy available to thousands of others with her characteristics is heartbreaking. The press is obviously distorting the truth in this matter and the pols are attempting to use the suffering of a deserving person to further their questionable political purposes. Where is Americans' love for equality and fairmindedness?

I think this is the worst muder I have ever witnesses through the media. I believe michael
did this to his wife. I feel the courts need to give the family a divorce and give the family there daughter back if it is a matter of cost let the family take her home to live out the rest of her life. Who are we to play God and she had no will this was only after seven year he wants her to die. Please someone needs to put him in a vegitative state and see how he likes it. Who will be next. I is congress job and the family especial the mother of this women should have final say.
i cannot believe that the courts and the judges etc are even thinking like this.what if it was there child or grandchild or even them..how could the people that we believe in think to let another human suffer like this.it makes me so sick that we cannot trust no one.thats why our world is the way it is.there are people here in tulsa that lost kids to drunk drivers and i know of one family they lost there child to a drunk driver that fled mexico.and there innocent son was walking home and this DRUNK idoit killed him and fled back to mexico where he couldnt be touched and thats ashame on this families behalf that nothing could be done to this DRUNKEN IDOIT..but yet you wont to let another family suffer cause her husband is being a biganist and is married again and he cheated her family of there daughters life by taking all that money and spending it on other women to satisfy his needs and now he has this done..right here proves to me that this low life never loved her and never will....he wants this poor womans insurance money and i know that for a fact.thats all thats been talked about is pulling this womans life from her so he can have that insurance money to satisfy his needs and wants...i think her family should let her go and file charges against him in that state and have him put behind bars for her death ..just because he wants that money.i cant believe ya would let that jerk get away with anything...he dont deserve to have her money let alone her.please someone out there help her family to save her from this savage beast.terri you hang in there hunny we will help you...your strong you can fight this and live and breathe and walk and talk on your own you have angels protecting you..and you have all the world in your hands and on your side .keep the faith baby and hang in there we are fighting for what is right for you..even though there are jerks out there that dont care..it shows you terri that the world is full of sick people out there that dont have a heart...for those of you that are doing this to this poor family and this woman..let me tell you your time is coming ..you will pay the ultimate price for what you did..you MARK!!!! my word you will pay.it says in gods word..you will reep what you sow. so take that to congress.and terri's husband that goes for you to you sick jerk.
