I'm asking honestly...I'm trying hard to understand...why do some of you protest against gay marriage? I have yet to hear a reason given, aside from "It will undermine the institution of marriage" without explaining what that phrase means, and why gay marriage does that, or "Because the Bible says it's wrong".
Please, readers, tell me if you think it's wrong for gays to marry, and why.
Thanks.

Yes it is wrong. It is wrong, because they have no business calling it marriage. Marriage is the union of a MAN and a WOMAN. Seeing how gay couples are either MAN and MAN or WOMAN and WOMAN, I don't quite see how they qualify, and that is the way it should be. If they want to do their little civil union thing and live happily ever after, fine, so be it. But, don't ever call it marriage...that is inherently wrong. I can't believe this country's gotten so fucked up and have had such a moral decline, that they're considering it. Of course, it is in Massachusetts, home of my beloved buddy John Kerry (sarcasm), but once the dominoes start falling, i'm afraid more liberal states will join the fray. So let me summarize. For gays, civil union, ok, fine...but marriage....oh hell no. Don't insult the sacred institution of marriage with their deviant lifestyle. This is my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. :-)
