It never ceases to strike me how stirring and wonderful the Carmina Burana is. I grew up listening to Orff's masterpiece, and still, every time I play it, it sounds fresh and bold and magnificent.
I think I could listen to it a thousand times over without tiring of it.
You're right, it's great. I wish they'd stop using it in movie trailers though.
