Heather and I are sitting here on the couch watching the Sox and sweating the game. It's the bottom of the 14th, and we're waiting, just waiting for one of the Sox's mighty bats to roar, and they're not.
Also, the more I see Jeter's smug face, the more I hate him. It's nothing personal, he just embodies the smug indifference of the Evil Empire he plays for.

2 games down, 2 games to go to make the World Series! What a comeback they're making! I totally agree with you, although Jeter is supposedly one of the few "good guys" on the Spankees, he's very smug and as cocky as they come, but he still embodies Steinbrenner and that whole "Evil Empire" that Larry Luchinno and John Henry talked about. I think everyone I've talked to is rooting for Boston, seems the Red Sox Nation has expanded beyond New England. Now, let's see if they can finish the task...and kill this curse from 1918.
Try living in New England with all this Yankee vs. Red Sox crap. Now I know how the French felt during our Revolutionary War....besides being weasely that is.
