Never thought I'd hear it, Boston Red Sox, 2004 World Champions. God, what it must be like for the folks who've lived in Boston and New England...congrads to all of those fans, and to everyone cheering for the Sox. Two predictions, if you will, from me:
1.) There is going to be a big spike in the death rate in the area, all of the people who have been waiting for the Red Sox to win a World Series to die, can now do so in peace, finally.
2.) But not to worry, in 9 months, there will be a huge jump in births, due to the raucous celebrations around the region this evening. More than a few babies will be conceived, I'm betting. So perhaps it will eventually even out. ;-)
