The Gay Simpson

So the Simpsons episode aired tonight where one of the characters came out today. It was okay. Like all the rest so far this season, this Simpsons episode was not that good, and it wasn't really bad either. It just was.

My guess as to who was not right. I was sure it was going to be Lenny or Carl. But it was

Patty.

As a libertarian, I appreciate that the Simpsons are willing to go out and speak out about gay marriage. I don't see a problem with gay marriage, or polygamy, or whatever form of marriage people wish to enter into.

I don't believe that the state has a role in telling people what form their relationships can take. I know I'll catch hell for that, but it's true.

I believe that as long as your own personal convictions allow you to be in a gay relationship, you should have all of the rights afforded staright couples.

But anyway...speaking of gay marriages and relationships, the L Word's on, and I'm going to watch that instead of this screen.
