I got a copy of "Mesmerize" from System of a Down. I'm already a huge fan of their music, and I picked up the special iTunes Bundle two months ago with two of the songs off of Mesermize, but the album has surpassed my expectations ten-fold.
It's amazing. It's aggressive and powerful but well-crafted and deep and insightful and the heaviness and speed doesn't overpower my appreciation of the craftmanship of the songs.
