There's so much commentary about the Koran these days, about what it says and what it doesn't and what it means and what it doesn't that I decided to buy the Koran. I was able to pick up the Bantam Classics Edition.
I'm going to start reading and trying to offer my commentary...so I guess I'm going to be adding to the noise, but it's something that I think is important.
I do recognize that the translation is an important aspect, so I'll probably end up reading more than one edition and comparing translations as well.
